Mattes Professional Dressage Boots have been developed in conjunction with Klaus Balkenhol specifically for the demands of dressage. The outer shell is made from ABS plastic to protect the leg from knocks and scrapes. The lambskin lining is completely removable for ease of cleaning. The Lambskin lining avoids areas of pressure and friction in addition to wicking sweat from the horse. The inside of the boot is soft calf leather against the horse. The hard outer shell is designed not to touch the fetlock joint. The outside area around the fetlock joint is left open the design of these boots gives the horse complete freedom of movement around the joint.
